Chi Alpha Connect/Breakaway Make your plans NOW for Chi Alpha Connect (also known as Breakaway). It will be February 26-28 in Hot Springs, AR. Cost is only $40; you can secure a spot with a $10 deposit. (Give it to any XA staff member.) This One's On Us “This one’s on us” is our way of doing something fun that people wouldn't see coming. If you got a "this one's on us" card, most likely you got it because someone associated with Chi Alpha unexpectedly gave to you, helped you, surprised you positively or assisted you in some way. It is just our way of saying you're important. The Bible indicates that a big part of our responsibilities as followers of Chirst is to show compassion, favor and give to others. For many of us, giving doesn't come naturally. As an effort to learn the art of showing compassion in a world where selfishness is rampant, "this one's on us" serves as a reminder to do for others the kinds of things we would love for others to do for us. If you received one of these cards, we encourage you to "pay it forward." Do something for someone else and enjoy living life to the fullest. We would love to hear your "this one's on us" story.
